行动党全国副主席M.古拉发表文告指出，发生在去年2月1日的一宗致命车祸，夺走了年方10岁，就读于巴占华小的学生林建伟宝贵的性命。当天林建伟一如往常的骑脚踏车去学校上学，却飞来横祸造一辆学生巴士撞及而当场丧命。过后该学巴的司机被控鲁莽驾驶，如果罪成的话会被判入狱。古拉在文告中说，行动党针对上述事件决定给与林家免费的法律援助，以古拉为首的律师团包括了巴拉律师和西尔文律师。古拉说日前林同学的父亲林盛华接获警方的通知，必须在今天到法庭供证，当一行人准时抵达法庭时却被法庭职员告知，他们搞错了聆讯的日期，正确的日期落在02/02/11。
同时也是行动党怡保西区国会议员的古拉对此感到非常不满，在政府推行了各种指标制以及法庭所应用的快速处理案件的系统后，林家依然被错误的传召出庭。这样的事情对林家一家人是非常不公平并且会使到他们触目伤情的更为伤心。
古拉最后表示，林建伟同学的死是一个无法弥补的遗憾，如此的意外根本就不应该发生，古拉等人向林盛华和家人致以最深的同情。

Death of a child of 10 years old a great loss to Sdr. Lim Sang Fah a construction worker and to concerned ones.
On the 1st of February2010 Lim Jian Wei a school boy of 10 years old was riding bicycle to Bercham Chinese school. Unfortunately on the way, a school motorbus hit Lim Jian Wei and he died instantly. Prior to the incident the deceased had always used the same route and never had any mishap.
The bus driver has been charged for reckless driving and if found guilty could be imprison and sentenced to a jail term.
Today the father of the deceased Sdr. Lim Sang Fah 49, and his wife was asked by the police to be present in court to give evidence against the bus driver.
The DAP agreed to provide legal assistance and we were represented by Lawyers. Selvam and Bala together with M.Kula.
We were in court sharp at 8.30am when we were told be the court staff that they had wrongly informed the Hearing date as today when the actual date is the 2/2/11.
With the introduction of the KPI (key performance Indext) and speedier trial systems in the Courts we are surprised the a wrong Hearing date was given to the Lim's family. It has caused them much anguish, distress in forcing them to come and then to be told that the case has been post poned.
The death of Lim Jian Wei is irreplaceable. The family has another school going child. This is an accident that should not happened. We extend our deepest syampthy and condolences to the Lim’s family
